  1. Promoter
    • The promoter of this competition is Cornhill Market
  2. Competition Dates
    • The Halloween Hunt runs from 10am on Friday 25th October 2025 until 4pm on Saturday 2nd November 2025.
    • Entries submitted outside of this period will not be counted.
  3. How to Enter
    • Pick up an entry form from any participating trader or the Market Office.
    • Find all the hidden Halloween decorations around Cornhill Market – each decoration will have a letter on it. Collect all the letters to spell the secret Halloween word.
    • Write your answer on the entry form and hand it in to the Market Office or post it in the marked competition box before 4pm on 2nd November 2025. No purchase is necessary to take part.
  4. Who Can Enter
    • The competition is open to all ages. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
    • Employees, traders and immediate family members of Cornhill Market may take part for fun but are not eligible to win prizes.
  5. Prizes
    • There will be three winners:
      1st Prize
      2nd Prize
      3rd Prize
    • Winners will be chosen at random from all correct entries received by the closing date. Prizes are non-exchangeable and no cash alternative is available. The organiser reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.
  1. Winner Notification
    • Winners will be drawn and notified within 7 days of the competition closing date.
      Winners will be contacted via the details provided on their entry form (email or phone).
      If a winner cannot be reached within seven days, another winner may be selected.
  2. Publicity
    • By entering, participants agree that Cornhill Market may use their first name and photograph (if applicable) for promotional purposes in social media, marketing materials or press releases, without additional payment.

    • All personal information provided will be handled in accordance with current UK data protection laws and used solely for the administration of this competition. Data will be securely deleted after the competition has ended and winners have been contacted.

    • Cornhill Market reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition if necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
    • The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
