By Train

If travelling by train, you will need to get off at Lincoln Central Station. (direct trains from Doncaster, Gainsborough, Leicester, London, Nottingham, Peterborough, Sheffield, Sleaford). From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to the market. 

By Bus

If travelling by bus, you will need to get off at Lincoln Central Bus Station, St Mary’s Street, Lincoln, LN5 7FD, just a 3-minute walk from The Cornhill Market. By Car

If you are travelling to The Cornhill Market by car, you should head for Lincoln Central Car Park, Melville St, Lincoln, LN5 7BP. This multi-story car park has nice wide spaces and is within a couple of minute’s walk from the market. Lincoln Central Car park has 12 EV charging points.

Hot food caterers open –

Can I book a table?

Unfortunately, we do not normally offer a table booking service.

If you can arrive a little earlier than planned you should be able to get a table or wait until one becomes available during our busy periods. There is also additional seating on the mezzanine floor within the market hall as well as outside in City Square (perfect for when the sun is out!)

Our busiest periods are expected to be at weekends between 11am – 2pm.

Can I bring a dog into the market?

Yes, well behaved dogs on a lead are permitted, and please respect other customers by not letting your dog on the furniture, and if your dog makes a mess, please always clear it up!

Where can I get water?

A water refill station is available within the main market hall near the entrance to the “fresh produce” area. Please ensure you bring a refillable bottle in order to take advantage of this.

Is there table service?

We are a market hall containing several kitchens that all operate independently. We do not provide table service. Instead orders can be placed at the individual kitchens. 

Are there toilets?

Yes, as part of the market redevelopment there are 10 unisex toilets available to market customers. These toilets are free to use and include facilities for those with disabilities and baby changing.

Is the venue accessible?

Step free access is available via our Sincil Street entrance and we also have toilets for those with disabilities. Access to the first floor mezzanine level is via a platform lift.

Is there Wi-Fi?

Yes, we are pleased to provide free Wi-Fi for all market customers. If your device is set to connect to networks automatically, you will just need to accept the terms of agreements in order to connect. Otherwise, navigate your Wi-Fi settings and select Cornhill Market to accept the terms of agreement and connect.
